Hi! My name is Sarah Adelman and I am a born and bred New Yorker and stand up comedian.

I am a former reproductive health Research Scientist and now perform all over the city at venues including Stand Up NY, Littlefield, Union Hall, The Stand, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Caveat, DontTellComedy, and more. I’ve also opened for Judy Gold in and out of NYC as well as Mohanad Elsheiky and can be seen on two episodes of HBO’s Game Theory season 2.

I was an Ars Nova resident for the 2023-2024 season in their Comedy Artist Makers’ Program where I developed and premiered her one-woman show "EGG," Called "a charming coming-of-age stand-up show" by New York Times comedy critic Jason Zinoman and selected for the NY Comedy Festival, EGG has been on a sold-out national tour over the last year.
